THE LITTLE
MAKING PLACE.

ABOUT
The Little Making Place is a working studio rooted in traditional, hands-on craft.
We teach attainable skills — lino printmaking, wood burning, clay, textiles, and sourdough bread — in a way that feels grounded, approachable, and deeply satisfying.
This isn’t a drop-in craft room.
It’s a place to learn real techniques you can use again and again.
Whether you’re carving your first lino block, shaping dough, or building a collection piece by piece, you’ll leave with both the finished work and the knowledge behind it.

This Month at The Little Making Place
A rotating collection of projects available during open studio hours while supplies last.

Learn the basics of needle felting while creating a soft, sculptural piece by hand. This slow, tactile project is calm, satisfying, and wonderfully beginner-friendly.

Create a finished acrylic painting with guidance available throughout the process. This project focuses on color, composition, and enjoying the act of painting—no pressure, no experience required.

Paint and personalize a terracotta pot, then pair it with a plant to take home. This project is lighthearted, creative, and perfect if you want something both decorative and useful

Paint your own set of watercolor Valentine cards in the studio. This guided project is relaxed, playful, and perfect for all skill levels.

Design and paint a set of acrylic postcards using bold colors and simple shapes. This project is great for experimenting, layering, and making something uniquely yours.
