OPEN PAINT WORKSHOPS
Pick your painting. Paint at your pace.
Tuesday evenings in the Art Studio are a little different from a traditional painting class.
There is no single painting that everyone recreates together. Instead, each painter chooses one of our pre-drawn artist canvases and creates the painting they want to create, at their own pace.
Come with a friend and paint completely different pictures. Change the colors. Add your own details. Stay close to the original artwork or take it in an entirely different direction.
Our canvases are pre-drawn and lightly shaded, giving you enough guidance to take away the intimidation of a blank canvas while leaving plenty of room to make the finished painting completely your own.
An instructor is available throughout the evening for individual help when you want it — from color mixing and brushwork to techniques, details, and figuring out what to do next.
No keeping up. No falling behind. No experience necessary.

TUESDAY EVENINGS
- Doors Open: 5:30 PM
- Workshop: 6:00–8:30 PM
- Ages: 16+
- Limited to: 12 painters
Your canvas purchase includes one Open Paint Workshop, all paints and supplies, aprons, and individual instructor guidance.
You don’t need to bring anything. Just wear something comfortable so you can relax and enjoy yourself, and bring your favorite drink if you’d like.
We won’t ask what’s in your cup.

Every canvas includes one Open Paint Workshop at no additional charge.
Prefer to take your canvas home and enjoy it just as it is? Absolutely! The workshop is included as an added option with your canvas purchase, so canvas pricing is the same whether or not you attend a workshop.
Canvases may be purchased online or in The Little Bread Shed.

RESERVE YOUR SEAT
Tuesday Open Paint Workshops are limited to 12 painters, and a reservation is required.
Purchasing your canvas online?
Select an available Tuesday workshop date when you purchase your canvas. Choosing your date reserves your seat.
Purchasing your canvas at The Little Bread Shed?
Choose your canvas in the Shed, then text 262-339-4355 with your name and the Tuesday you’d like to attend. We’ll confirm your seat based on availability.
Already purchased a canvas but didn’t choose a workshop date?
No problem. Text us when you’re ready to paint and we’ll find an available Tuesday for you.
Occasionally we’ll have last-minute openings, so keep an eye on social media for same-day available seats.

DIDN’T FINISH?
That’s completely fine.
This isn’t a race, and we don’t want you rushing through a painting just to finish by 8:30.
If you’d like more studio time, bring your painting back and reserve another Open Paint Workshop for $20.

JUST WANT THE ART?
You don’t have to attend a workshop at all.
Our pre-drawn canvases are also available to purchase simply because you love the artwork. Take one home as it is, paint it yourself later, or give it as a gift.
Remember, canvas pricing is the same whether or not you choose to attend the included workshop.

FOR OUR YOUNGER ARTISTS
Tuesday evening Open Paint Workshops are for ages 16 and up.
Once a month, we’ll open the studio for a special kid-friendly painting workshop.
