Why This Place Exists
Creativity has always been part of my life. In my family, evenings weren’t spent around board games—they were spent around tables covered in pencils, paint, and chalk. Making things together was simply how we were.
I went on to study interior design, but creating never became something I “used to do.” Along the way, I hosted paint nights for fundraisers and girls’ nights at local restaurants, and I noticed something that stayed with me. When people who believed they “weren’t artistic” sat down and started creating, something shifted. They surprised themselves. They relaxed. They made something beautiful—and watching that happen lit me up.
As a designer, I also saw another gap. Original art is meant to be lived with, yet so often it feels out of reach—confined to galleries or price points that don’t feel attainable. Artists want their work to be seen and loved. Homes deserve art that feels personal.
The Little Making Place was created to bridge those gaps.
Between “I can’t do this” and “I made this.”
Between expensive galleries and real art on real walls.
Between creating alone and creating together.
This is a place where making feels possible—and where art becomes part of everyday life.
